We don't get sick of our denim jeans, so why do people question their ability to pair them with a denim jacket or shirt?
When I think double denim, I am thinking Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and even Elvis Presley.

Lots of people associate this iconic look with the 80's period, but what they don't realise is, that is in fact a statement that has never left!
Tips and Tricks:
That's right! There are rules with double denim, however some are made to be broken.
1. One item in your outfit MUST be a different fabric/colour
Yep, you heard me. This is double denim not triple denim. Stick to this rule and you will remain the coolest chick/dude down Chapel Street.
2. Don't wear the same shade on top and bottom.
Now this rule is made to be broken. If Kendal Jenner and Gigi Hadid can rock it, then I can too!

3. If in doubt... show off your legs!
If you feel this double denim thing is too nerve-wracking for you, pop on your denim shorts or skirt and have some skin showing to break up the blues!
4. Baby Steps with Black on Black.
Black goes with everything the fashion gods say, and they're not wrong! Double black denim is a subtle statement in itself, if you can rock the blue on blue, don't forget to bring out the black on black next weekend!
5. 7/8, cuff em or nothing!
No one likes to see jeans halfway done your boyfriends bum, and I don't like to see what you've walked through all day in the stains on your ankles! Keep it neat with 7/8 length or a trendy cuff.
6. If you don't have the right shoes... MISSION ABORT!
If you are double deniming, I hope you have your best pair of white sneakers, strappy heels or leather brogues lined up with it!
'Junners' has never been okay, so don't break out your ASICS with this ensemble please!
That's all I got!
Don't be afraid to rock your double denim pals, it's a trend that will never die. You'll turn heads, you'll look fabulous and exude confidence all with one 'fit'!
