A Hidden Treasure in the quiet streets of Canguu.

Canguu is a beautiful escape, about 20-25 minutes drive from Legian and Kuta and about 15 minutes from Seminyak. Home to Finns Beach Club, Canguu is quickly becoming more and more populated with cafes and restaurants making it a foodie's heaven.

Being a Melbournian, this place impressed me with the abundance of options for 'brunch' that you just don't get in the hype of Legian, Kuta and Seminyak.

Canguu Beach has volcanic black sand making it unique to the white sands of Seminyak, it is also a hell of a lot cleaner! This is the perfect place for you if you are into surfing or watching the surfers. But beside's Finns Beach Club, there isn't much else to do in Canguu if you're not into brunching.

However.. give Canguu another 10 years and it'll be just as busy as Kuta as this place is green, close to the beach and heavenly.

I stumbled across a hidden treasure when walking through the long empty roads of Canguu with my boyfriend. Bali Bowls offers the trendy Poke and Smoothie Bowls as well as decent coffee, chai and iced beverages. It is literally on a street facing a piece of land with nothing of interest, but it's great for people watching and cooling down from the humidity.

Simplistic and tropical, Bali Bowl's styling goes hand in hand with the quality of their food. Their smoothie bowls are to die for and better yet, you can create your own for your personal pallet.

If you are no stranger to Bali Belly, Bali Bowls is not a place to be concerned of, their food is clean and fresh and their water comes from a chilled bottle.

I devoured a iced Chai latte here, which if you know me, you'd know there isn't many days I don't treat myself to a chai latte, but in Bali, they are so hard to find! So this place put a smile on my dial in more ways than one.
